Zytel® 尼龍樹脂由杜邦公司独家生产。其提供獨特的綜合優勢，包括強度、韌性、抗化學性和耐高溫性能，加上其它理想的特性，以及易於注塑和擠出的加工性能，Zytel® 尼龍樹脂為汽車、電氣與電子、工業品和消費品等產業，製造可靠和經濟實惠的部件。Zytel® 有多種級別供設計師和加工商使用，它們以不同類型的尼龍聚合物為基體材料，再配上各種可增強性能的成分。兩類最廣受使用的Zytel® 尼龍樹脂，分別以標準PA66和PA6聚合物作為基體材料。在很寬的溫度範圍內，它們都能夠提供不同組合的剛性、強度和韌性。以尼龍66/6共聚物，以及PA66與6共融物為基體材料的樹脂，進一步擴展性能組合的範圍。以PA612為基體的樹脂，其抗濕性能比標準尼龍強，而且具有更良好的尺寸穩定性和抗化學性能。每一種系列的尼龍聚合物，都有提供含改性劑的產品級別，以配合加工或使用要求。這些改性劑的作用是增強某些特定性能，當中包括增強物、增韌劑、增塑劑、阻燃劑、熱穩定劑、紫外線穩定劑、碳黑、着色劑、潤滑劑、核化劑、聚合物改良劑。
